Jean Fergusson Excellence in Pediatric Oncology Nursing Education Award To recognize and reward outstanding educational service by members of APON. Number Awarded: 1 each year.Duration: Annually.Deadline: April of each year.Eligibility: This award is presented to a registered professional nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric oncology nursing. Nominees must be association members; participate in programs that are consistent with the Scope of Practice and Outcome Standards for Pediatric Oncology Nursing; have contributed to pediatric oncology education at the local, state, national, or international level; implement well-developed programs with defined objectives; establish a positive teacher-learner relationship that promotes and supports pedicatric oncology education; and contribute to the development of professional pediatric oncology nursing practices.Contact Information:Association of Pediatric Oncology Nurses
