Assist in menu modifications and other nutritional related functions. 

 

Responsibilities also include:

 

      Interviewing patient and/or family for nutritional history; obtain patient food preferences; assess patients and documents in patients&apos; medial record, according to hospital policies and procedures; recommend nutrition care plans to medical staff for review and consideration; recommend therapeutic diet modifications and/or supplemental feedings to physicians for patients; ensure accuracy of diet order received by checking against physician&apos;s order; calculate nutrient content of tube feeding, TPN/PPN, and dietary intakes (calorie counts) as ordered by physicians; provide nutritional guidance and counseling to patients and their families.  Provides written material as needed and according to prescribed diet; perform any and all related duties.

 

Qualifications
 
Bachelor&apos;s Degree in Food, Nutrition or Dietetics, required. Registered Dietitian, required.
Active member of the American Dietetics Association, preferred.</description>
