Minimum Qualifications (required)	Minimum of one (1) year experience in cardiology and/or anesthesia with hemodynamic monitoring. Certified to run cell saver and intra-aortic balloon pump. Must have a
minimum of 1-2 years experience in a trauma center. Current BCLS-American Heart Association required by start date.

Work Hours: 2:30p - 11:30p

Assists anesthesia staff with special procedures: CVP insertion. Swan Ganz insertion, arterial line placement, IV placement, difficult intubations, spinal / epidural placement. Plans activities to assure assistance to MDA during anesthesia induction and emergence as requested. Identifies and anticipates unusual circumstances and uses critical thinking skills to respond accordingly. Prepares cell saver and processes cells. Inserts IV and arterial lines. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent.   Experience: 2 years   Certification: Applicants should have ASATT certification (Cer. A.T.) or be eligible to sit the ASATT cerification exam. The successful applicant will be required to acheive ASATT certification within 6 months of hire if not currently certified.    Working Environment: Works in a well lit, heated and ventilated area. Nurse practitioners are credentialed and privileged by the Cleveland Clinic Board of Governers. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master&apos;s  or doctoral degree preferred. Demonstrated mastery of nursing concepts and principles and abilty to identify and use appropriate concepts and principles  from related sciences; e.g. behavioral sciences and biological sciences. Excellent analytical and decision making skills are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a multi disciplinary team. Demonstrated competency and the ability to perform advanced assessment and diagnosis.  Demonstrated ability to utilize the electronic medical record. Two years of current clinical experience in clinical nursing. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Ohio. National certification as Nurse Practitioner required. Current Certificate of Authority by Ohio Board of Nursing required. Certificate to prescribe preferred. Typical physical demands include the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination to perform physical examinations. Requires corrected vision and hearing to a normal range.
